“Take the blue pill…take the red pill…?”… recall the line?
“Take the blue pill…take the red pill…?”… remember the series?
These’re the original words uttered… the movie line is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is the fact that “Neo” (Keanu Reeves) is dwelling in a world of controlled perception. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the “movement” in the movie, is leading younger Neo via a wild ride of “reality” vs. belief. Like the movie it is the work of mine, as a personal trainer, to steer individuals with a trip in perception.
Even in “real-life” it looks like we, as depicted in this movie, only think that taking a tablet can provide us all the solutions to our desires. The question of mine to help you is…”Do you think all the issues of yours can be fixed by snapping a pill?” Do you really think that information come from drugs or even do you feel that answers originate from personal responsibility? I guess the actual issue is…”Do you have confidence in prevention or “cure”?
Apart from the quirky movie comparison… What is your perspective as associated with health, body, and better living? Does better living come from better pharmacology? Sure…I estimate millions of lives are saved from illness, hereditary failures, along with illness. Do we accept responsibility for the conduct of ours that contributes straight to health that is poor and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even if the latest weight loss pill did work – Can it be going to work life long? What are the risks connected with a lot of the most up weight loss supplements? Virtually any pill we take has a “side effect” attached to the use of its in folks which are many. It seems people are prepared to pay just about anything to get their hands on the newest diet pill, or maybe weight loss gimmick out there. Worse – prescription medications are passed out such as candy to a large number of a huge number of obese folks. As we all know a number of these medications have confirmed to be very risky, even deadly.

I speculate most of the concerns as well as frustrations I get from people relevant to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, could be traced directlyto one vitally important as well as essential question: Are we a remedy driven society or maybe a prevention driven society? Does it make sense that the latest carbo-blocker, fat burner or losing phenq weight loss supplement (click the next website) pill is going to reverse years of poor living? Do you truly think that the personal responsibility of yours can be absolved by a pill?
Lets’ grab the general model of “dieting” for example: one system works like this, you’re taking a number of pills in the early morning – get a nutritional shake in the afternoon, chug down another handful of pills by late evening, and consume a boxed, pre-portioned, special dinner during the night. OK. – What happens when you are going off this weight loss program? I think all of the stunning results simply vanish entirely! Without a doubt, they tell you to have this product, subsequently that product…then hold the breath of yours for ten seconds while getting up and down…ok…ok, I am getting carried away – I know. The point is; in case you have to draw the specific pills and perform the special diet you just will not get it done for long – that is why it is called a weight loss program. The name itself assures a person that it’s something which you start as well as stop! Not any, friends – better existence isn’t something you begin & stop, it’s something you benefit from when you accept responsibility for the proper care of your health and body.
So what’s the right formula? Well, my answer is to ask yourself some really important questions.
One; Will you assume that individual responsibility supersedes a cure-all (diet pill)?
